DC 4.7 Timezone problem on Windows systems
NovaBACKUP DataCenter

If the time display of the DataCenter application (logfile content, Reporting) differs from the timezone set in your Windows environment you have to set a Java Runtime Environment to a distinct timezone.
Locate hc_agent.lax and hc_cmdsrv.lax in installation_home/bin. They are Java configuration files for the respective services.

Open each file and navigate to

lax.nl.java.option.additional

Add the timzone setting in that line so that it looks like

lax.nl.java.option.additional=-Duser.timezone=America/Chicago -Djava.security.policy=magnet.policy -Xrs

save them and restart the agent and the commandserver.

This is a platform-independent way. You may alo use it for other commandserver OS like Linux or UNIX. Here are a few timezone names for example:

America/Anchorage -9 (Alaska Standard Time)
America/ Los_Angeles -8 (Pacific Standard Time)
America/Denver -7 (Mountain Standard Time)
America/Chicago -6 (Central Standard Time)
America/Cayman -5 (Eastern Standard Time)
America/Aruba -4 Atlantic Standard Time)
